Adult Programs

It takes a village to raise a child. The Man Cave programs for adults include in-person, full-day professional development for educators, as well as keynotes for schools, parents and community groups. To enquire about any of these programs, please speak to our Programs Team.

Parent Experience

“Step inside the room where teenage boys actually open up.”

This is a practical, experiential workshop, not a keynote or a lecture. Parents will leave having used TMC’s tools firsthand, with shared language and at least one thing they can do differently at home. Best suited to parents of boys, especially teenage boys.

Educator PD

The Educator PD equips educators with the theory, language, and tools needed to work meaningfully with teenage boys, particularly in the areas of emotional literacy, group culture and healthy relationships.

Keynotes

We offer keynote addresses for parents, educators, schools and community groups. These 60-minute face-to-face or online sessions provide context for what’s going on in the world of young men, and actionable takeaways to improve engagement.

Mates on The Mark

A community football program for men in leadership, coaching or umpiring roles – built to support safer, more welcoming club culture, especially for women and girls. Delivered as a series of in-person workshops with reflection and discussion about the cultural drivers that shape behaviour in sport.

In partnership with the AFL

Speakeasy

A 90-minute wellbeing workshop for workplaces, delivered by The Man Cave facilitators in partnership with Movember. Designed to explore the importance of powerful conversation, build authentic connection across teams, encourage help-seeking, and strengthen culture. Delivered in-person or online.

University Offerings

Sessions for students, staff and faculties – from guest lectures and panels to full-day workshops, start-of-year kick-offs, and circle training for student leaders. Focus areas can include community building, holding groups well, storytelling, group culture, and character development.

I learned heaps about building relationships and classroom culture in just a few short hours. There is nothing more important than doing this kind of work, especially right now with so many unhelpful influences affecting our young men.
